My first ever portfolio website, it’s funny how your own site is much more precarious task, after so many ‘revisions’ of the original specification it took a while before I was satisfied, but I’m sure there’ll be more revsions to come! A continuous development. I believe it’s paranoia for most Web developers to get their own one done right, practice what you preach and so forth.
This site, I ended up using & experimenting with Twitters’ Bootstrap framework. I started out with Skeleton 960, which I found was good, but far more ‘cryptic’ semantic structure, and actually less responsive. Bootstrap is elegant, quick & efficient, something I’ll certainly be using in the future.
